ALL STUDENTS PLEASE NOTE: All classes will be cancelled this Saturday because we will be at the tournament.

All competitors are to be at the Field House at 9AM with the tournament starting at 9AM. If you come a little early, we will have better seats and you won't have to wait in as long of a line to get in the building. Entry fee for visitors is usually $6-8.

I need all forms filled out and entry fees paid by end of classes tomorrow. Master Kim has extended the early filing date for our school so we will not have to pay late registration fees.

I copy of the competitor form is attached to this email. Fill it out and bring it by the school today or tomorrow.

We are going to have the following extra practices for tournament preparation:

Haedong Students (all belts) will practice during the adv. class at 7:15PM on both Tues. and Thurs. I will work with Master Kim to determine if my students will compete in weapons or creative forms. It is possible the two groups will be combined. For now, just check the weapons division on the entry form.

TKD Students will have additional practices on Wed. at 7:30 PM and Friday during sparring and adult classes from 6:15 to 7:45PM.

Master Lee requested that we begin the seminar at about 1PM. He is going to bring a few of his students to assist with the seminar and demonstrate some of the techniques. As a result he needs a little more time. He says he will probably arrive around 12:40 but to say 1PM to be safe. If any of my students want to come early to warm up or practice that will be fine.

******Please do not eat a large meal at 12:30. I would suggest eating lunch around 11:30 or Noon at the latest to make sure your not working out on a full stomach. We should have plenty of sparring gear for everyone to share. There are only a couple of mandatory things you may need to buy: A mouthpiece and groin protection. If you don't have either, they are very inexpensive and will be available at the school.

2008 Hanmadang Tourney Details

Dragon Test Saturday February 16th at 12:00
The next Dragon Test is set for Saturday February 16th. I will begin at approximately 12:00 right after the Sat. adult TKD class is complete. Please come 10 minutes early so we can start promptly. This Test is for all current Dragon Students. White belts will perform the 10-Count drill, Yellow Stripes will perform basic drill #1, and Orange Stripes will perform Dragon Form #1.
